To determine your why and to set some goals, you need to ask yourself a few questions:
1. Why did you join myNetworkingPro?
2. What made you decide to upgrade? And specifically at the level you upgraded to: Customer, Manager or Executive?
3. What are your short term goals with the site and what are your long term goals?
4. Are you interested in inviting others to join myNetworkingPros?
5. Do you want to make money here and how much, how soon, and how often?
These answers will be different for each of us as we are all different and have unique sets of goals that we have set for ourselves. When I joined back in May 2006, I was mostly interested in making contacts, maybe doing a little bit of promoting of the site, and marketing my main business. But, after a few years and an incredibly huge downline on one leg, I decided it was time to really ramp up and start inviting like crazy everywhere and anywhere that I could think of. The reason for this is that I started to add up the numbers and realized that there was REAL potential here to make money, not just chump change. I had been getting checks all along and had made more than I ever spent here, so that was a good sign.
It took me almost 3 years to get serious about the business and to really promote it. I had been an Executive for 3 years already, but a quiet one at that. I decided to really push myNetworkingPro because I saw the potential here, I saw that the company really did pay, as stated, and the company was here to stay. It was not a scam (which I know is a big concern these days with just about anything we join).
We always tell people on our calls that they need to give this business a good 3 - 5 years to really make it grow, like a snowball rolling down the hill that gets bigger and bigger over time. I didn't take it seriously until so much later. I hope you don't wait as long as I did.
For me, it it a dual purpose site. I promote what I do as well as build myNetworkingPro as a separate business. You might decide to do the same, or you might decide you only want to promote just your main business to this community, or you want to make myNetworkingPro your main business.
I will say that whatever you decided to do, write down your goals, visit them often, share them with your upline, get trained, get involved, and always ask questions. Once you have figured out what you want to do, then you and your upline partner can set a path to achievement. And if the person that brought you in is not active or doesn't have the answers you need, go to the next person above them.
We can provide you with all the tools you need, the motivation to get you started and keep you going, and help set the vision. But, you have to ultimately step up and do what you have set out to achieve.
Before closing, keep this in mind. The number one income earner in myNetworkingPro is Howard Winwood. His upline partner quit and he had to build his entire team on his own, both legs, and he was new to Network Marketing when he started this. If he can achieve that, then think of what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.
Until next time,
