myNetworkingPro is:
- a social network
- a business network
- a business opportunity
- an advertising web site
- a shopping rebate center
- a dating site (yes, for those that are part of that particular community)
- an outdoorsman network (again, for those that are a part of that particular community)
- a video portal
- a forum for network marketers (there is one that is a "no ads" site that offers great advice)
- a people finder
- a daily news source
and so much more
So, you decide what aspects you like best and go ahead and market those to your target audience. So who and how do you promote it? The key here is to invite others to come check it out because it's free to join. We work by inviting others, not selling to them.
A few ways to invite:
- everyone knows business owners (your accountant, your lawyer, your dry cleaner, and even your Avon lady). Invite them to come here and advertise their business for free. All businesses could use free advertising.
- personally invite your friends and family to post a free profile and check out the services we offer like shopping rebates, social network, etc
- business cards (hand them out, post them on community boards, stick them in those little fish bowls at restaurants, etc). I personally prefer to get mine from Vista Print because you can get them free here and only have to pay for shipping which is like $5).
- post flyers on bulletin boards at laundry mats, dry cleaners, college campuses, etc
- bring it up in conversation when the time is right, when someone asks you what you do for a living
- post card mailers (if you want to get that fancy, it's an option)
- promote in classifieds section of newspapers, town flyers, want ads, etc (you can do this cheap and in some cases free)
- join your local Chamber of Commerce, meetup group, BNI Group or other local business groups to promote myNetworkingPro along with your main business.
- network with people at seminars or live events, job fairs, etc
- get a car magnet with your URL on it
- have your friends recommend your site to others
- offer them the opportunity to sign up with myNetworkingPro when you recruit new members into your main business as a way too help promote their new venture (this you should be doing anyway)
- cold call (you can get leads for free here Leads For All)
- sponsor a local event or offer a gift basket at a charity fund raiser and include a business card in your basket
- ask others for referrals of people that would be interested in the site
There are so many different ways to promote myNetworkingPro offline and if you are out recruiting for your main business, add myNetworkingPro as a bonus to your new members.
In my next post, I will talk about the ways to promote myNetworkingPro online. You don't want to miss it.
Until next time,
