So where do you promote myNetworkingPro online? How do you invite others to take a look at your URL link? What do you write to get their attention?
Well, for one, as far as where to go, in a nutshell, as many places as you possibly can. The more you get your link out to others and invite them to take a peek or post a free profile, the more likely you will have people signing up under you.
Here are just a few of the places where you can invite other with some personal suggestions of what I use:
1. Traffic Exchanges - TEs - there are tons of these out there. In many cases, you can promote more than one link, so also marketing your main business here kills 2 birds with 1 stone. They are going to to cost you though in either your time or money. You would either surf to build up credits or you would pay to have credits put into your account. Those credits are used to share your site(s) with others in the community. Some of the ones I use are -
- Traffic Swarm - been around for a long time and is probably the most popular
- Traffic Witch
- 4 steps list of exchanges
2. Safelists - this is another popular option. You agree to allow emails of other peoples' programs to come to you in exchange for emails about your programs to others in the community. I will warn you that once you get started using safelists, you will want to have a separate email account to handle the influx of emails you will get. So, an account with gmail, hotmail, or yahoo could work, unless the safelist bans those particular addresses, then you will need to find something else. Or, ff you do have them coming into your inbox, make sure they are filtered into a separate folder. The beauty of safelists is that you can never be accused of spam because they are all double optin. The bad news it that your email could get lost in the shuffle of all the others. Again, you can promote more than one program with these. You can join many as a free member but will have limits on how many emails you can send out per day or week. Or you can upgrade and have a greater list of people to send to and possibly even more than once per week or once per day. Some of the ones I use are -
- Link Referral - by far the most successful, you visit 30 sites per day and review 5 of them, in exchange others do the same for you. You are guaranteed to gets eyes on your site with this one.I highly recommend this one.
- Herculist - huge, been around for some time
- ADvertyze
- Reality Networkers - this is where I first learned about safelists and which ones to use or not
3. Classified ads - the Internet is full of FREE and paid sites out there where you can post your ad in the business opportunities section of their site. Some of the ones I use or have used are -
- Inetgiant - perhaps the biggest free classifieds ad site out there, you don't want to skip this one
- Solo ads - these are cool because there is a limit to how many of these go out per day to other email addresses and others will click on your link to earn credit to their own account. That also means you won't get an inbox full of emails daily, maybe 5 the most.
4. Other social networks - where is a great place to promote a social network, why of course, on other social networks. As you build up relationships on these sites, you can then introduce your new contacts to myNetworkingPro. You probably already know a few of these, but just for reference, there are -
- Myspace
- PeopleString
- Ryze
- Adlandpro
Bill Weber, who is the father of the owner of myNetworkingPro has had success using this method. He suggests that once you join these social networks and start making contacts, you should send out the following invite:
In

5. Leads - the beauty of leads is that you can either call them or email them. And there are a lot of FREE trials and more out there. Instead of listing a whole bunch to look at, here's a link to the blog I put together that focuses just on leads Leads for All.
6. Article writing - if you write an article about myNetworkingPro and publish it, you are going to get views. In fact, article marketing is a huge industry these days. Just remember to keep your facts straight and be careful what you say, because it all comes back to you and your reputation. Some good article sites are -
- Ezine Articles
- Amazines
- Go Articles
- Pub Articles
- Article Buzz
- Article Dashboard
- Tweet Zine
7. Blogs - as you may have already guessed by now, blogs are HUGE. Almost everyone has one. If you have one in place, you can write just about anything on it. Add some back links and you are golden. Some of the more popular blogs out there are-
- Blogger - the obvious since I am currently using that one to post my how to guide
- Word Press
8. Video - if you can set up a digital camera and take video of yourself, you can be in business. Add video to your blog, web site, your myNetworkingPro profile, or the most popular place of all, Youtube.
9. Forums - joining forums and actively contributing to them are great ways to get your name out there. You don't even have to promote your business, just respond to others and ad your URL(s) in your signature line. In fact, you do NOT want to blatantly promote your business because that is a good way to either get banned or turn others off from wanting to even correspond with you. The more that people see you contributing valuable information, the more likely they are going to click on your URLs. There are tons out there to choose from. Some of the ones I personally use are -
- Better Networker
- WAHM - find your primary company here and chat with others doing the same business
10. Viral Marketing - in this particular case, you add your links and then you refer others to add their links so that eventually your links end up going viral and seen by many eyes. If you build up a good following, these can be a great way to get more eyes looking at your site(s). Some of the ones I use are -
- Hits2U
- TripleYourList
- Free Viral
- HitsFrenzy
- Pageswirl
11. Responding to SPAM - if you are like most network marketers out there, then you probably get a lot of SPAM in your mailbox. So, take advantage of that. Send back an invite to anyone that sends you a SPAM. They won't all sign up, but you might be surprised just how many do. The easiest way to do this is to save a message as an autoreply, signature or anything else that is saved in your email and name it. That way, when you respond to those emails, you don't have to keep rewriting your response over and over again.
I could go on and on with many more ways to promote and invite online. But, for now, I am sure that this will give you plenty to work with.
And now, here is my #1 secret for getting sign ups in myNetworkingPro. This method has been tested and works better than any of the methods I listed above.
Drum roll please..........Personal one on one invites.
What does that mean? If you send a personal invite email to someone, you are more likely to get a sign up. You can use this method with craigslist posters (not just anyone, but those with a business or service they are promoting), free classifieds web sites for listings in the business opportunities section, spam mail (it comes to your inbox daily, so take advantage of it), and anywhere else that you can get a personal email address and send directly and individually. This does not work for mass email and it will not work where you do not have a personal email address.
Your message also needs to be fine tuned. There are a few examples in your myNetworkingPro back office of what you can write, but you will want to personally make it your own so that you don't sound like everyone else out there that is promoting myNetworkingPro. Trust me, you want to be unique. To this day, I still get email invites to myNetworkingPro that were taken word for word out of the back office and they look horrible. The key is to make it your own, add your personal experience to it, your success record, etc. Be genuine, do not deceive anyone, and always reply to your emails if they write back to you.
And with that, this concludes your myNetworkingPro "how to" guide. I hope you have enjoyed the experience. I hope you have learned some great new ways to use the site, to market the system, and even how to work your other businesses.
I wish you all great success. And, I am here to help you. Just reach out!
