How to add video and photographs to your myNetworkingPro profile

If you want your profile to stand out, make you more approachable, and have people find you much easier on myNetworkingPro, than you will want to consider adding your photo(s) and possibly even video. So, how do you do that?

You can access both functions from your home page. They will appear to the right of your picture box.

Let's start with photo:
1. click on the "edit profile" then click photo, or just go to the "add photo" link.
2. browse for your picture on your personal computer, when you click browse, your personal computer's files will pop up
3. find your image and upload
4. if for some reason, the size of your picture is too big, you can always crop your photo online at:

If you want to add a photo montage or slide show to your profile, you can do that too:
1. click on the "edit profile" from your home page then click news and from here you can upload html code for pictures.
2. best places to create a picture slideshow or montage are:

To add video:
1. click on the "edit profile" tab and pick either video, my movie, or my tube
2. select from either business or B-2-B profile to set the video to
3. select primary video to either file or code (file from your computer and code if it's HTML)
4. give your video a name
5. then either pull off video from your own computer or put in the HTML code for your video that you might have stored on another site like http://www.youtube.com
6. make sure the file is not too big or it won't load, if you have to compress or cut it down, you might want to upload it first to Youtube and then pull the html code from that site to add to your myNetworkingPro site.
7. select your video category, this will depend on what your video is about, you have a few choices to pick from
8. include a video description
9. wait for the video to upload

In all cases, make sure that you actually see a picture, slide show, or video running in your setup before closing out the application. For videos, most likely, it will tell you that loading is complete. It will still take some time for myNetworkingPro to show it live to others so that they can review the content and make sure it's appropriate. Do not automatically assume it's going to load and be sure to check back in 24 - 48 hours to make sure it's live before redoing the whole process over again, thinking it didn't take.

Until next time,
